Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja has often been accompanied by legendary singers of earlier times, such as Ussi Björling, Beniamino Gigli and even Enrico Caruso. Today he is one of the most respected tenors on the planet and has performed on the world’s greatest stages, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna Staatsoper, the State Opera in Munich, Smetana Hall in Prague and the London Palladium. In his latest work the Maltese tenor has re-recorded his most famous works by the popular composer Mantovani.
