There have always been magical towns in Andorra. These towns may rest at the bottom of a lake, like Lake Engolasters, or have been swallowed up by the Earth, like El Fener. There are also towns that come out of nowhere, like wild mushrooms, that grow and grow, before disappearing like smoke. The Christmas Village is just like them: it takes over the streets and squares of Andorra la Vella, ushering in the winter, filled with promise, light and tales during the Advent season. This year, the Christmas Village plays host to the races of the menairons from El Pic dels Meners. The menairons have always been there to help us, but it is quite unusual to see them in action…
El Pic dels Meners

Plaça de la Rotonda has been converted into El Pic dels Meners, the place where the menairons hide out, waiting to fulfil their mission. They will have to leave the mountains quickly in search of the Magical Post Office to help deliver all the children's letters and, by doing so, make their dreams come true.
A light show commemorates the fantastical voyage of the menairons from El Pic dels Meners to the centre of Andorra la Vella.
El Pic dels Meners is open every day from 1st December to 6th January from 6 pm.
Christmas Market

On their way to the Magical Post Office, the menairons will be visiting the Christmas Market in Plaça del Poble; a market full of lights and magic that transports visitors to a real-life Christmas fairytale. The Christmas spirit can be seen in all of the gifts, toys and other decorative items on offer. And the smell of cinnamon and nutmeg in the air lead us towards the Market's food stalls, which serve up delicacies to tantalise everybody's taste buds, whether you decide to eat there and then or take your food away. All items on sale have been carefully selected to bring joy to visitors both old and young, with options for all budgets.
Plaça del Poble also plays host to an ice-skating rink so that all visitors can participate in the fun side of winter. The ice rink, measuring 100 m2 and with a capacity for 45 people, is open every evening from 5 pm to 8 pm.
The Tió, the magical character that forms an integral part of Christmas traditions in Andorra, has also decided to relocate to Plaça del Poble so that boys and girls alike can visit him.
Because winter is so cold, the Tió is very hungry and needs boys and girls to bring him food! Between 1st December and 20th December, everybody that wishes to can bring him food; biscuits , bread and tangerines are his favourite treats. Once his tummy is full, between 20th and 24th December, the Tió will “poop” presents! All children are welcome to attend after visiting any of the information desks in the Village.
The Christmas Market is open Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 9 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm.
The Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest in Plaça Guillemó plunges us into a fantastical world where the urban landscape merges with the colourful, bright trees. Little houses covered in moss create a dreamlike village, which is sure to lift the spirits of all visitors. Performances and other children's shows liven up the Enchanted Forest throughout the month of December.
At the Enchanted Forest there is a natural plant market where, between 6th and 20th December, you can buy your Christmas tree as well as other Christmas plants that will fill your home with magic. From 9th January, there will be two Christmas tree collection points set up at the mini-recycling centres in the Parc Central car park and the Enclar car park at Santa Coloma.
The Enchanted Forest is open Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 9 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm.
Magical Post Office

After a long journey, the menairons have finally found the Magic Post Office! At last, they can deliver all the letters written by children from around the world. Thanks to the tireless work of the menairons, the dreams of little boys and girls everywhere will come true and they will receive their presents on time.
Find out more about the Christmas Village and the menairons from El Pic dels Meners at the Magical Post Office via a map that is projected each evening onto the façade of the Cines Modern building in Andorra la Vella, Meritxell Avenue, number 26.
For the little ones who still haven't posted their Christmas letter yet, they can do so using the magic letterbox at the Magic Post Office. Every evening, the menairons collect the letters and give children a stamped receipt as a guarantee that their letter will be posted.
The Magical Post Office is open from 6st December to 5th January from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
